Super cute and fancy tulip. Late bloomer, adding so much interest to the border
Underwhelming first year. Got five tiny bulbs that all bloomed relatively late. The coloring is unique and changing. Starts a dirty yellow brown but turns pink to lilac. It is an outstreaching parrot, but even when grown to full size its very short. With the current price and bulb size it is very hard to achieve a nice effect with these bulbs. I would only pair it with the triumph dark tulips that are 40-50 cm tall. Strange in the world of tulips - too little (size) but too much (crazy colors, not for everyone either).
