Beautiful color, starts blue purple and fades into lilac then pale blue. Weak stems. Comes back after a year, just shorter. Blooms last for a long time. First among the doubles to bloom in my garden (bulbs from 2 years ago), first flowers first week of april, last flowers second week of May. I had 100 bulbs in different spots in the garden. Wherever it pops up its a delight, but not long lasting in the vase due to weak stem. This color goes well with any other tulip.
